Madhavan Balaji Ranganathana, is a Indian actor , Producer , and television host. A big movie actor started his debut in zee Tv in (1996). 

His big movie came with Mani Ratnam's Alaipayuthey in (2000).

Early Life:

His father Ranganathan is a former excecutive, at tata steel . His mother saroja was an employee in Bank of india.

He studied in DBMS school in jamshedpur. He pursed a degree in Electronics Engineering from Rajaram college ( Kolhapur).

Madhavan was an NCC cadet. During his England stay he trained Army, Navy and Airforce.

Personal Life:

Madhavan meet Sarita Birje in ( 1991) and they married in (1999). Sarita is a costume designer. They have their first child Vedant in (2005).
